As far as what I had thought this trip was going to be… was surprisingly correct. Most of my time is spent on the Game Cube and listening to music. The shifts I have to take are even worse than I remember though. That might be due to the fact that they are 1 hour longer, (a total of 3 hours) and twice as frequent. The food down here is just too horrible to describe. Today, 6/14/04, we ate at some little hole in the wall joint. After struggling to figure out what they have, we finally gave up, and just said, “Dos por favor.” It ended up being some rice, salad, and some pork like substance. Of course, my dad just looked at the bill, and said WOOPIE! However, I couldn’t get my eyes off the gut-twisting site of “food” on my plate.

One of the one things to do here is rent scooters. Well, this alone makes the place worthwhile! Despite what my dad will tell you, they are NOT made for two people. Being forced to ride in the back due to my lack of knowledge on how to drive the stupid thing, made my behind start screaming LEARN TO RIDE YOU MORON! All this, besides the fact that I like every boy I know, riding something, anything, is WICKED AWESOME! So, before long I was in the front watching my dad sit on some rotten stump taking pictures of me. Dad says the shifting was backwards on the thing…however, having nothing to compare it with, so it was all gravy baby.
